Stock Replacement Shocks by Fox Racing
Fox Offroad Racing tested and tuned these shocks specifically for use on the Yamaha Rhino. The improvement in handling rough terrain is amazing!
These shocks use the same high quality materials that the Fox Offroad racing shocks use, including Hyper Coil springs (the same springs used for race cars). The bodies are constructed of a special seamless, smooth bore alloy with clear cadmium plating to withstand the elements. The shafts are 17-4 hardened, 5/8" dia. Hardcrome and the front shock piston is made of hard anodized, 6061 aluminum billet.
Aircraft quality materials can be found throughout the shock with such features as teflon lined stainless steel heim joints, 6061-T6 adjustable piggy back reservoirs, (360 degrees worth), billet aluminum body caps and just to make sure everybody notices your trick new "cush", all the aluminum parts are blue anodized. BLING!
The nitrogen charged DeCarbon design coupled with the additional oil capacity of the piggyback reservoir mean these shocks can be run hard without experiencing any oil foaming or heat fade (we know this because we tried)!

Installation is straight forward, utilizing the stock bolts, and including all other hardware required.
The valving was tested and tuned extensively to determine the best set up for compression and rebound dampening. The folks at Fox focused on keeping all wheels on the ground over rough terrain and eliminating the Rhino’s tendency to ‘buck’, along with general handling characteristics and comfort. Adjustable spring preload enables adjustments to ride height for those occasional heavy loads and the shocks are fully rebuildable without any special tools.
